as a dear friend once said to me "I was looking for a job when I found this one." and she is totally right.
the happy thing is that now I have more time to ...drum roll.... Make Soap!! I've been out this morning taking pictures of the bars I have on hand, can't figure out how to get them on this site though.. a call to customer service is in order. Not being all that computer savvy does not help me. Still, I know how to ask for help when necessary.
While I'm here, let me tell you about my grandchildren... no, wait, I don't have any!! Let me tell you about my four footed family, without whom I would be starkers.
there is Beth, 12 yrs old, an imported Welsh sheepdog (border collie) and her daughter Bounce, 10 yrs old, born in this very house, and Holly, 7 yrs old, extremely round and fluffy pound cat, and finally El Senor Rico, nearly 2 yrs old, my cuddlercat, long and sleek.
the cats came along (by way of the Springfield VT Humane Society) to fill the void left by my dearly departed Bugs. He was my constant companion for nearly 20 years.. he died shortly before his 20th birthday. And that is when I found that I could not live without someone who could purr. Beth & Bounce were game, but they just couldn't do it.
wish me luck getting these new photos up... the soaps are quite lovely, and the sun cooperated while I snapped pics. Fingers crossed!
