I've been taking advantage of the good weather to try to eradicate some of the wretched white violets that are taking over my little garden. I have a 10x12 foot space in front of the house that is pretty much the ONLY spot in the yard that gets sunlight. and a single white violet has started a revolution there. In about three summers' time they started choking out every other plant in their path! I planted a few perennial geraniums that were doing quite well, but now they're just hanging on for their dear life. Drastic steps must be taken before the violets complete their coup.
Now, before you leap to the violet's defense, I will say that I DID bring them home, did plant them here because they're pretty.. However.. they can't have the entire garden. That isn't fair.
No new news from the soap room yet. I've been noodling w/ some ideas, holding off on production. I have a request for me to get my arse in gear on that solid bug repellant, so I'll be doing that this week.. am going to need to order some kind of container for it, that's the hold up..my decisiveness could be more decisive, y'know?
Off to don my garden gloves and enter the violet battlefield.. wish me luck!!
