but before I get too carried away regaling you w/ tales of soapmaking bliss, let me send a shout out to my oldest sister, who today just got a little older - Happy Birthday!! You know, age only matters if you're a cheese...
.
This morning I cranked out two batches, both new to the line. Asian Aspects, a little luxury soap that is sure to be a hit. I added some sweet almond oil to the blend to give it even more skin nourishing qualities. You're gonna love it! The other soap I made was pure fun, with a watchful eye on what's good for you. I finally formulated Bubbles Galore, and although this one is still in the mold, I think she's gonna be awesome! While the name is all fun, the soap itself is made to be super creamy with a subtle sophisticated scent. This might just be a new favorite for me... edging out the Baa-ar at last.
Not much else going on here. We've had a string of dry days, which is terrific. I have a "pet" frog living in my stocktank out front, have named him Pierre. Kinda cool having a frog around. Anything that eats mosquitoes is a friend of mine. Well, except maybe spiders. Yeeek.
We're looking forward to some cooler days at the end of this week. Days of apple picking and cider making can't be far off now. I can hardly wait!!
