We've been enjoying a lovely stretch of nice cool days and cooler nights, warm sunshine perfect for a collie to snooze in and enough snap in the air to turn one's thoughts to orchards, pies, cider, and the perfect Jack O' Lantern.

 The Bubbles Galore soap came out of the mold like a champ. I'm in love. It will have to cure of course, but will be ready soon. If early "raw" soap usage is any indication, this one will get a LOT better with age. The almond/rice flour soap also came out super nice, very happy w/ it.
 Signgirl, who is a constant source of inspiration & encouragement, has given me a thousand more ideas of things to try, so I will be busy making soap all winter, which beats the heck out of shoveling! Sadly, I'll be doing a lot of that too, I'm sure.
 Next on my agenda though will be churning out some hand lotion.. I know I owe some to Chilisocks & family, and my mom would like some to use on the site of her radiation treatments.
 too funny - the technicians there told her to use ONLY Neutrogena soap & lotion while she was undergoing treatment.. and she replied "I only use Wooly Bear, and you shoud too"  Gotta love it. But it really is very mild soap, and you CAN use it fearlessly, under any circumstance.
