hoo boy. the best laid plans of mice & men... and soapmakers. Good grief. I got flattened by a quick but nasty stomach bug, and have gotten exactly not one thing done. I can now sit up a while, so I'm here, mostly trying to sort out issues w/ the silly shopping cart feature. Tech support has sent me off to look at some tutorials, which are written for people who're way more tech savvy than I am... but I'll muddle for now, and we'll see!
We're having more rain today, which would be a lovely thing if I'd been able to get out and cut the grass yesterday. It is starting to look like the Ngorogoro Crater around here. Never a good sign when your grass actually ripples in the breeze, unless you've got a hayfield ready to mow.
Signgirl has generously offered to help me w/ soap labels, so soon we'll have New Improved labels for the bars.. being thrifty, I won't toss out the old ones, so be prepared to see some out of date information.. not to worry though, if you're reading this, you're as up to date as I am.
Holly & Rico are doing their level best to be adorable, and it is SO working. They've curled up on the bed within inches of each other, looking a bit like a grey/black yin/yang symbol. Rico really likes to be closer than he is, but Holly is a bit of a crank, so he inches up to her while she's sleeping. Too cute. It all goes well until she wakes up, then whacks the poor guy in the head, usually while he's still asleep! He loves her in spite of it, my sweet boy.
Hope you're having a great day.. bye for now!

I am sure that the soap makers are all enjoying the post and the things that are posted here will excite them to make more soaps and to enjoy life in their own simple ways. I want to make soap and I am inspired because there are so many posts here that will help me to make soaps and will help me to believe in myself that if you truly want something you will not stop on reaching it.
