I've got a very busy next few days coming up, but thought I'd pop in for a bit so you won't feel neglected. You don't, do you?!
Just a quick update, then I'm off & running.. ok.. the decluttering process continues, although we have suffered our first casualty - the hanging shelves in the cellar (where I've been piling stuff for years) are starting to complain, and without some serious TLC are going to collapse. Anyone recommend a good carpenter who works for brownies?
Still, the amount of crud I've gotten rid of so far is marvelous. You should try it, what a great feeling, a shedding of one's old skin in favor of a shiny new one. I hope to repeat the process, on a MUCH smaller scale, regularly from now on.
On the dog front, Beth has developed an Old Dog Bump, which is probably nothing, but we will have it checked. She'll be 13 on New Year's Day.. which is also Holly's birthday. So ironic, since the two loathe each other. We will have parties on the upper AND lower floors of the house. hee!
Alex is getting antsy for his No. 12 soap, so that will most definitely be next on the soapmaking agenda. I WILL make some on Monday, ok Al? You'll have it way before Hallowe'en.
and now I'm off to pick up my fresh milk at the dairy, then home again to cut grass, sweep out the kennel and drag more big black plastic bags from the cellar to the garage. I hope that YOU are finding productive ways to spend your day too.. maybe a few less spiders involved... I may be a spinner, but I'm not fond of spiders. Yikes.
